Details:	Hawker is located in the beautiful Flinders Ranges of South Australia, where you'll begin your full or half day tour of the Central Flinders Ranges, including the popular Gorges tour. Pick up can be arranged from the Hawker Caravan Park and other accommodation places. Derek also conducts customised tours to your desired area - for example Arkaroola, Gammon Ranges and/or beyond. Derek's vehicle is a modern luxury Toyota 4WD carrying up to six passengers in comfort and safety. Owner / operator Derek is an accredited driver and also a German interpreter. The Flinders Ranges region is one of the most environmentally diverse and scenic landscapes in South Australia. It includes rugged, mountainous areas, grasslands, land dominated by saltbush and bluebush, sand dune-swale systems and watercourses lined with river red gums and/or melaleucas.
Packages:	PACKAGES TOUR 1 Half Day 'THE OAKS' (Private Property): $105.00 'The Oaks' tour takes you off the beaten track to experience many different aspects of this area that the average tourist simply does not get to see. Derek provides personal insight into this region from the land where he spent most of his childhood. The tour includes Jarvis Hill Lookout, superb views of Lake Torrens from the Yappala Range and the deserted railway town of Old Hookina. Track fees included Duration approximately 4 hours TOUR 2 Half Day 'ARKAPENA' (Private Property) : $105.00 On the private property tour of 'Arkapena' station experience rugged Four Wheel Driving over mountains that are still grazed by local station owners, the Gregory brothers. Highlights include Pugilist Hill Lookout and a tea break on top of the range. WHAT IS INCLUDED: Morning or Afternoon Tea supplied-coffee, tea, cake and biscuits Track fees included Duration approximately 4 hours TOUR 3 Half Day BUNYEROO & BRACHINA GORGES (Flinders Ranges Natioanl Park) $125.00 This tour will travel into the Flinders Ranges National Park through the magnificent Bunyeroo and Brachina Gorges featuring a stop at the renowned Razorback Lookout. Discover unique plant life, geology and aboriginal culture & plant usage. As this is a half day tour, we will be trying to see as much as possible therefore the pace will be swift but not rushed. WHAT IS INCLUDED: Morning or Afternoon Tea supplied-coffee, tea, cake and biscuits Natioanl Park Fees minimum 4 passengers. Special arrangements can be made for 2 or 3 passengers. * TOUR 4 Full Day BUNYEROO & BRACHINA GORGES (Flinders Ranges National Park) $160.00 This tour takes you into the Flinders Ranges National Park through the magnificent Bunyeroo and Brachina Gorges featuring a stop at the renowned Razorback Lookout and traveling down the Backbone of the Flinders Ranges. Discover unique plant life, geology, Aboriginal culture & plant usage and remnants of early explorers and settlers. The day concludes at a magnificent lookout across the area traveled and reflect on the day's journey.
