CONDITIONS OF BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICY

 
BOOKINGS AND DEPOSITS

 
With telephone, postal or internet bookings the description of the premises by Sea SA Getaways as booking agent, is made in good faith, but no responsibility for misdescription or misinterpretation can be accepted.
 
Sea SA Getaways always endeavours to maintain true and accurate information on the website and in all verbal and printed information provided, but cannot be held responsible for any error or change in information. 
 
A deposit is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation.  The deposit amount varies depending on which accommodation is booked and will be between 10% to 50% of the full amount.  The balance amount will be due 7 days prior to check-in.  If a booking is made within 7 days of travel, the full amount is payable upon booking.  Please check your receipt and contact our office immediately should there be a discrepancy. If payment is made by cheque, receipt is issued subject to such cheque being cleared.  There will be a fee for dishonoured cheques. Monies for the full period of the booking are to be paid before departure.
 
ACCOMMODATION
 
The keys to the premises are available from the management office at the arranged times, unless special arrangements have been made beforehand.
 
The tenancy commences and expires at the times designated by management of each accommodation outlet and Sea SA Getaways has no control over this.  Late checkouts may be subject to an extra charge by the accommodation managers.
 
The Tenant will be responsible for damage to the premises or loss of or damage to any items in the premises and the Tenant will pay to the designated Agent  the cost of replacement or repair (at the discretion of the Agent) of any such item damaged or lost.
 
The Tenant shall not park cars on the premises, except in specific area allowed for that purpose.
 
At no time during the occupancy by the Tenant shall more than the number of persons stated reside overnight at the premises, without the prior consent of Sea SA Getaways and the Agent, whereupon extra charges may be made.
 
Pets and animals are not allowed on the premises, unless prior arrangement has been made with Sea SA Getaway's / the Agent's approval.
 
Where applicable all Body Corporate Rules, Regulations and By Laws must be complied with and all excessive noise, which may affect other Tenants must cease.
 
No responsibility is taken by Sea SA Getaways, the Agent or Resort for Tenants' personal property whilst on the premises or travel to and from the premises.
 
CANCELLATIONS - ACCOMMODATION
 
In the event of the said premises becoming unavailable for occupancy through unforeseen circumstances (i.e. fire, storm damage, change of ownership etc) Sea SA Getaways and / or the Agent will inform the Tenant immediately and endeavour to obtain a suitable alternative premise for this tenancy; failing which any monies paid will be refunded to the Tenant.  Sea SA Getaways takes no responsibility and is not held liable for any changes in the accommodation or facilities.
 
In the event of the Tenant wishing to cancel the booking more than 48 hours in advance of the date of arrival, AND the premises is re-let for the entire period of the initial booking, a service fee will be charged to the Tenant making the cancellation, and in some cases the full deposit amount for the accommodation component will be forfeited.  If the premises is not re-let for the entire period, the full deposit amount for the accommodation component will be forfeited.  The amount for the ferry transfer will be held in credit for 12 months.  This condition is subject to the policies of the Agent / accommodation provider and the discretion of the Accommodation / Agent Manager.
 
In the event of the Tenant wishing to cancel the booking with less than 48 hours notice, the full deposit amount for the accommodation component will be forfeited.  The amount for the ferry transfer will be held in credit for 12 months.  This condition is subject to the policies of the Agent / accommodation provider and the discretion of the Accommodation / Agent Manager.

CANCELLATIONS - TOURS & ACTIVITIES
 
In the event that the customer cancels or wishes to postpone a prebooked tour or activity, a cancellation fee will be charged.  This fee will vary depending on the amount of notice given and will also vary between tour / activity operators.  Please ask Sea SA Getaways for details before you book your tour / activity.
 
DESCRIPTIONS
 
Agent  -  Sea SA Getaways' representative (eg. Manager of Resort, B&B, private holiday home, etc).
Tenant/Customer  -  Person/s who has booked and paid for the accommodation
Resort / Premises  -  Accommodation place stated and booked by the Tenant
