Wish Fairies on the Ferry

A surprise visit on board Sea SA's car & passenger ferry from Wallaroo to Lucky Bay by the Make-A-WishÂ®Australia â€œWish Fairiesâ€ during September school holidays, saw delighted children enjoying balloons and face painting - all for a good cause.

The fun helped raise community awareness plus over $900 to help local kids aged between 4 and 18 living with a life threatening illnes - and has sparked a promise of another Wish Fairy visit this Summer during January school holidays!

Volunteer organizer, Belinda Knight said, â€œWe are truly grateful to the Captain and staff of Sea SA for allowing us this opportunity to come on board. We certainly had a lot of fun and hope that the passengers did too.".
